The creative ecology programme of workshops and longer term projects delivers age appropriate opportunities to learn, through direct creative experience of sustainable materials and outdoor environments.
James Aldridge has extensive experience of working with teachers, museum educators and environmental organisations, setting up inclusive arts projects that enable all children to participate. James has worked with County Wildlife Trusts, Action for the River Kennet, The Natural History Museum (London), The Thatcham Nature Discovery Centre, and Organic Farming and Conservation projects in the UK and Australia.
By devising activities in partnership with your organisation, Creative Ecology projects can link to existing themes and subject areas from across the curriculum, whilst presenting new opportunities to develop a direct understanding of the local environment, learn about recycling and sustainability, celebrate local distinctiveness and explore your own natural/cultural heritage.

*Construct wearable art-work based on local wildlife or natural features.
*Plant trees and design wildlife gardens to encourage greater biodiversity.

clay, plaster, rubbings, photographs, video and mark-making to document
our explorations, and the things that we discover along the way.
